What an AMAZING Picture

Since I am moving I haven’t begun my study since my books are all packed up :( .  I figured I would keep the ball rolling and talk real quick about the above picture.  I find this picture truly inspiring.  It is from the Salvay Conference in 1927.  In this single photo we have almost all the people who founded the base of modern physics as we know it today, ALL in one picture.  Einstein, Schrödinger, Max Plank, Marie Curie, Heisenberg, Bohr, Dirac, de Broglie, Pauli  just to name a few.  17 of these 29 brilliant minds won a noble price.  I mean think about it.  It’s like having Newton, Galileo, Kepler, da Vinci, Hooke in a single photo together.   I have it framed and it will be going right on my desk when I move into my new place to remind me of their quest for knowledge and how they revolutionized the world just with their curiosity.  I would love to do the same but understanding it is going to be just as big a task.
